GREENWICH, CT — The Greenwich Lions Club will hold its annual pancake breakfast on Saturday, April 18, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Cohen Eastern Greenwich Civic Center.
"It will be the 63rd Pancake Breakfast for the Lions Club and we are excited about our first year at the exciting new Cohen Center," said Allen O’Farrell, event chair and past president of the Old Greenwich Lions.
Organizers said the event will feature the club’s pancake chefs preparing traditional and specialized flapjack varieties. The menu includes unlimited pancakes, sausages, syrup, orange juice, coffee, tea and milk. Food will be prepared to order in view of attendees.

"This event is more than just pancakes, though, as we have bluegrass musical entertainment, a bake sale, door prizes, free eye screening for 2 to 6 year olds and face painting by Faces By Wells, all for a great cause. We will also be presenting the annual Lion’s Club donations to over 30 local non-profits," O’Farrell added.
Proceeds from the event will support the Greenwich Lions Club’s service projects benefiting residents in Greenwich and surrounding communities.
