7th Central Middle School Community Engagement Forum Scheduled In Greenwich
Officials will share information about the campus design as well as the project's timeline, phases and logistics during the virtual meeting.

GREENWICH, CT — The Central Middle School Building Committee (CMSBC) has invited members of the community to a virtual public forum on Tuesday, Oct. 29 from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. The forum will be held virtually via Zoom only.
Representatives from the building committee and the project’s team of professionals will be in attendance to share information about the campus design as well as the project’s timeline, phases and logistics.
Attendees will have an opportunity to submit questions in real-time during the forum. Questions can also be submitted in advance via the CMS Building Committee webpage beginning on Thursday, Oct. 17, until 12 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 25.

The session will be broadcast live at this Zoom link (or dial 646-558 8656 and use Webinar ID: 899 0104 8747) and recorded for future viewing.

According to the September capital projects update from the school district, the CMS project is "moving at lightning speed" with construction expected to start late summer, early fall 2025. Final construction preparation is taking place this school year.
"While plans move forward for a new building continues at a rapid pace, the current Central Middle School building remains safe and in serviceable condition, suitable for continued use as a school for students and staff," the school district said in the update. "Regular inspections continue and wall monitors have been in place since February of 2022."
