8 Greenwich High School Students Honored In Scholastic Art Awards
Eight Greenwich High students have been selected in the Connecticut Scholastic Art Awards for their work from multiple types of media.

GREENWICH, CT — The district announced this week eight Greenwich High School students have been selected in the Connecticut Scholastic Art Awards for their exceptional work from multiple types of media, including photography, ceramics and more.
According to a news release, the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards is the largest, longest running and most prestigious recognition program for creative young people in the United States.

"The Greenwich High School Art Department is very proud to recognize our eight Connecticut State Scholastic Art Award recipients, including one who went on to win a Gold Key on the national level," Greenwich High School Arts Teacher Julie Nixon said in a news release. "Our students won these awards competing against nearly 2,800 students from about 145 schools in Connecticut alone."
