Abilis Gardens & Gifts Summer Sip & Shop Scheduled For June 1

GREENWICH, CT — Abilis Gardens & Gifts is holding a Summer Sip & Shop event on June 1. The event will run from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Abilis Gardens & Gifts, 50 Glenville St.

Attendees will enjoy a 25 percent discount in the entire gift shop and garden center. Summer and graduation floral orders can also be ordered in advance online at here or by calling 203-531-GIFT.

The event is free and open to the public.

Abilis is a non-profit organization that supports more than 800 individuals with disabilities and their families from birth throughout adulthood. Abilis Gardens & Gifts is a retail training site located next to the Abilis headquarters that trains adults with disabilities and provides employment skills and much needed retail experience for competitive employment opportunities.

The Abilis program participants staff the shop and garden center and also make beautiful hand-crafted items, such as candles, soaps, lotions and bath products. The Abilis Gift Shop has one-of-a-kind gifts for all ages, books, jewelry, home decor, accessories and is one of the few places in town to find wonderful Greenwich-themed gifts.

The Abilis Gardens & Gifts greenhouse is also the place to purchase beautiful flowers and plants. Abilis Gardens & Gifts is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
