Abilis Hosts Art Show And A Family Luau This Weekend In Greenwich

Abilis is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that supports more than 700 individuals with special needs and their families

GREENWICH, CT — From Abilis: Abilis, the non-profit organization that provides services and support for individuals of all ages with special needs and their families, is hosting two events this weekend — an Abilis Art Show on Saturday, March 3, and an Abilis Family Luau on Sunday, March 4.

On Saturday, March 3, from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m., an opening reception for the Abilis Art Show will be held at the YWCA in Greenwich, Connecticut. More than 67 artists with special needs painted 78 paintings that will be shown during the month of March. The artists exhibiting their work at the Abilis Art Show range in age from young adults to seniors. All paintings are available for sale.

Also on Sunday, March 4, a Family Friendly Luau hosted by the Abilis Youth Board, will be held at the Greenwich Academy Cafeteria from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. This is an inclusive event to aid in the organizing and holding of a community bonding event between the public with special education students and their families. The party is free and fosters friendships. The theme is a Luau party with games and snacks for the whole family. To learn more, visit abilis.us.
