American Legion Pancake Breakfast In Glenville Scheduled For April 22
The event will feature the dedication of a new flagpole and a commemoration of the end of the Vietnam War.

GREENWICH, CT — American Legion Post 29 will be serving up a pancake breakfast on April 22 at the Post's Greenwich HQ in Glenville, 248 Glenville Road.
The event will also feature the dedication of the Post's new flagpole, and a commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the end of the Vietnam War. The breakfast will be co-hosted by the Horseneck Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR).
The event will be starting at 8:30 a.m., and breakfast will be served until 11:30 a.m. Breakfast will include orange juice, pancakes/maple syrup, bacon, sausages and coffee.

Immediately prior to breakfast, First Selectman Fred Camillo will dedicate the Post’s new flagpole. During breakfast, Post 29 Vietnam veterans will highlight some of their experiences serving in the war and answer questions.
Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for children 10 and older, and free for children under the age of 10.

Proceeds will be used to support youth programs in Greenwich: Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, American Legion Baseball, and Boys and & Girls State, which is a leadership program for high school students.
In the event of rain, the event will be moved to April 23.
