GREENWICH, CT—Greenwich is now the most expensive real estate market outside of California.
The market is the 12th most expensive in the nation and prices went up four percent from last year, according to Greenwich Time.
The average price of a four-bed, two bathroom house is $1.4 million.
Property taxes in Westchester are triple to those in Greenwich, which helped boost the Greenwich market.
Westport, Wilton, Weston and Fairfield were also among the top 100 more expensive markets nationally.
