Spring Paving To Begin Soon In Greenwich: Here's Where

Drivers are being asked to use caution in work zones. Police will provide traffic control.

GREENWICH, CT — The Greenwich Department of Public Works will begin its spring paving program on Monday, May 18.

"Our roads took quite a pounding during the winter and this is very necessary work to be able to have stronger, smoother roads," First Selectman Fred Camillo said in his recent weekly newsletter to the community.

According to Camillo, paving will include:

Work is expected to take approximately five to six days, with work hours typically between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m., Camillo said.

Residents may experience minor delays, but access to residences will be provided.

Drivers are being asked to use caution in work zones. Police will provide traffic control.

The work schedule is dependent on the weather, equipment availability and any other unforeseen circumstances, Camillo said.
