GREENWICH, CT — The Greenwich Chamber of Commerce is holding its annual Sidewalk Sales Days from Thursday through Sunday, July 9-12, along Greenwich Avenue and surrounding side streets.
Nearly 80 local retailers and businesses are participating in the four-day event, which features shopping, special promotions and community activities. Organizers said the event attracts thousands of shoppers from across Fairfield and Westchester counties each year.
New for 2026, registered participants may choose to display their sidewalk sale merchandise either inside or outside their stores, providing businesses with additional flexibility.
The Chamber is also expanding its Non-Storefront Vendor Village, offering businesses without a Greenwich Avenue location an opportunity to participate. The Vendor Village is located in front of the Wallace Center at 299 Greenwich Ave. and on the lawn in front of the Havemeyer Building (Board of Education) across the street.
On Sunday, the event will also introduce its first Nonprofit Village on the Wallace Center lawn alongside the Vendor Village. The space will feature local organizations and provide opportunities for community engagement.
Sidewalk Sales hours on Friday and Saturday are from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Parking will be available throughout the event at the Pickwick Plaza parking garages, including locations at 200 Greenwich Ave., with an entrance on West Elm Street, and 1 Pickwick Plaza, off East Putnam Avenue adjacent to Sotheby's Realty.
Greenwich municipal lots and nearby street parking will also be available.
