The Junior League of Greenwich (JLG) is thrilled to announce four upcoming New Member Classes plus two Open Houses for those wanting to learn more about this incredible, philanthropic organization.

The training involves an inspiring, fun-filled, one-day or two-day class and at the end participants will be the JLG’s newest members on one of its rewarding committees working on impactful projects and programs. The one-day classes are July 22 and September 19 from 9am-3pm while the two-day class is October 14 and October 21 from 9am-Noon. All are at the beautiful JLG headquarters at 231 E. Putnam Avenue in Greenwich.

Membership in the JLG offers opportunities to connect with a vibrant group of women dedicated to advancing women’s leadership for meaningful impact through volunteer action, collaboration, and training.

Two examples of powerful, rewarding JLG programs include the JLG Women’s Conference and PositivelyMe!

The JLG Women’s Conference is a one-day experience bringing together experts and community leaders for
meaningful conversations, practical takeaways, and new connections. Positively Me! helps 3rd-grade girls boost
confidence, self-expression, and skills to handle peer pressure or bullying through fun activities like martial arts, dance, art, and role-playing.

“Last year we welcomed more than 40 new members who are relishing in our invaluable leadership development, professional growth, and social opportunities,” said Sara Burns Davis, President of the Junior League of Greenwich. “They’re now fostering a vibrant community that encourages both personal and collective success.”

For those wanting to meet members and learn more about the JLG before registering for a class, there are two Open House opportunities. Tuesday, September 1 please stop by the headquarters for a Happy Hour between 6:00pm-7:30pm or join members for a Coffee Chat at the JLG headquarters on Tuesday, September 15 between 9:15am-10:30am.

With a membership of nearly 500 dedicated women, the JLG has been instrumental in creating lasting change in
Greenwich. Some of its past projects include building the Boundless Playground at Bruce Park, helping to establish The Greenwich Pool in Byram Park, and developing vital programs such as Kids in Crisis and the Den for Grieving Kids.
