Annual St. Roch's Feast Upcoming In Greenwich

The beloved town tradition returns soon with food, music, games, rides and activities for all.

GREENWICH, CT — One of Greenwich's favorite summer traditions is fast approaching.

The annual St. Roch's Feast is scheduled from Aug. 12 to Aug. 15 in Chickahominy, and this year, the event is back on as usual.

In 2025, construction at Hamilton Avenue School limited the feast's footprint.

The feast will feature a variety of food, including the popular pizza fritta and sausage and peppers, music, games, activities, and raffle prizes with the chance to win a $20,000 American Express gift card.

"This is the kind of event that makes Greenwich special and generations of residents come to enjoy it every year. I went there as a kid and I still love going now," First Selectman Fred Camillo wrote in his most recent weekly newsletter to the community.

Hours will be from 6 p.m. to 10 p.. for the first three nights. On Aug. 15, the feast will open early at 4 p.m. and close at 11 p.m.

Camillo noted there will be new rides this year from Stewart Amusement. On Aug. 15, children can ride free from 4 p.m. to 6 p..m.

"This is the oldest fair in Greenwich and I like to remind people that when we started dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic in Greenwich in 2020, so many of our beloved annual events had to be shut down but the Feast kept going and was the only one in Connecticut to not be cancelled," Camillo continued.

"That shows its importance to the community and I hope everyone will come join the fun next week."
