Fairfield County residents looking to hit the dance floor will have the chance to do just that on September 29 when Cherko Country brings its high-energy line dancing session to The J House Greenwich.
Led by founder and instructor Adam Cherko, the two-hour event at The J House Greenwich's Riverside Room promises a relaxed, high-energy environment designed for complete beginners and experienced line dancers alike.
Cherko launched Cherko Country in 2014 after returning home to Westchester County, New York, following nearly three years of training under industry legend Dan Albro at the renowned Mishnock Barn. Since then, Cherko has built a community centered around inclusive instruction across Westchester and Fairfield counties.
The event runs from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the hotel's Riverside Room, a 1,411-square-foot versatile event and meeting space that holds up to 95 people. Admission is $55 per person, and guests can enjoy a cash bar throughout the evening.
Beyond learning steps to original choreography and country hits, organizers emphasize the holistic benefits of line dancing—highlighting its ability to boost physical fitness and mental health while bringing people together.
Whether attending solo to meet new people or stepping out with a group of friends, attendees can expect an evening packed with music, movement, and community connection.
