Ferry Service Winding Down In Greenwich: Here's The Remaining Schedule

GREENWICH, CT — Summer is winding down and so is ferry service to Island Beach and Great Captain Island.

Ferry service to Island Beach will run Labor Day Weekend from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. every half hour.

There will be no ferry service from Sept. 8 through Sept. 11.

On Sept. 12 and 13, ferries will run to Island Beach on the hour from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Ferry service will close down after Sept. 13 and return next June.

Ferry fees for resident pass holders are $7 for ages 16-64, $6 for ages 5-15 and free for those 65 and older.

Fees for single-entry pass holders are $15 plus $10 for parking for ages 16-64, $10 plus $10 for parking for ages 5-15, and $9 for those 65 and older.

Children ages 4 and younger do not need a pass.

Single-entry park and ferry combination tickets are available online at www.greenwichct.gov/webtrac.
