The Junior League of Greenwich (JLG) welcomes its 2026–2027 Board of Directors and Management Team under the leadership of its newest President, Sara Burns Davis.
"What an exciting privilege to step into the Presidency at the Junior League of Greenwich, not only to help lead, but stand alongside such vibrant, passionate women," said JLG President Sara Burns Davis. "Together we'll continue to build a legacy of leadership, volunteerism, and positive change in Greenwich with uplifting and motivating events, programs, and fundraisers."
This year the JLG will continue popular events such as PositivelyMe! which teaches confidence and decision-making skills to 3rd-grade girls, its newly minted Women's Conference focusing on health, wellness, and personal empowerment, Touch a Truck which gives families a fun-filled day around a variety of trucks, food, and entertainment, and hold its second annual All Service Day, working with organizations to help strengthen Greenwich and those in need.
"This year the Junior League of Greenwich is making a deeper investment with two new focuses," adds Burns Davis. "Our Third Space Coalition will identify crucial spaces for Greenwich teens to connect and find support outside the home and school to promote mental health, and our Tod's Point Committee is researching a play space in the park for families at Greenwich Point Park."
The (JLG) is also hosting New Member Classes plus another Open House for those wanting to learn more about this incredible, philanthropic organization.
The training involves an inspiring, fun-filled, one-day or two-day class and at the end participants will be the JLG's newest members on one of its rewarding committees working on impactful projects and programs. The one-day classes are September 19 and January 30 from 9am-3pm while the two-day class is October 14 and October 21 from 9am-Noon. All are at the beautiful JLG headquarters at 231 E. Putnam Avenue in Greenwich.
For those wanting to meet members and learn more about the JLG before registering for a class, please stop by the headquarters for a Coffee Chat at the JLG headquarters on Tuesday, September 15 between 9:15a-10:30a.
