Greenwich Open Houses Oct. 10-11: 10 Homes From A $449,000 Condo To A $5.3 Million Riverside House

Ten Greenwich homes, including in Cos Cob, Riverside and Old Greenwich, hold open houses Oct. 10-11, from $449,000 to $5.3 million.

GREENWICH, CT — Greenwich's open-house weekend starts early, with a one-bedroom condo open at 9 a.m. Saturday. By Sunday afternoon it has worked through Riverside new builds, a gated Mid-Country estate with its own pond island, and a Cos Cob home whose listing counts the Bush-Holley House among its neighbors.

Ten homes in Greenwich, including its Cos Cob, Riverside and Old Greenwich sections, are holding open houses Saturday, Oct. 10, and Sunday, Oct. 11, with prices from $449,000 to $5,295,000, according to Zillow.com.

Saturday, Oct. 10

1525 E. Putnam Ave. #206, 9 to 10 a.m., $449,000. This Old Greenwich condo was renovated in September, according to its listing. It has a new kitchen with white cabinetry, quartz countertops and a waterfall-style island, a redone bathroom and a private balcony off the living area. It's a one-bedroom, one-bath condo with 668 square feet; the HOA fee is $645 a month.

88 Indian Field Road, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. (also Sunday, noon to 2 p.m.), $2,650,000. This expanded Colonial south of the Post Road was fully renovated in 2026. It has a front-to-back hall, a bay-windowed living room, a vaulted, skylit family room with French doors and a double-height primary suite. Outside, a fenced 0.22-acre lot holds a heated pool, a deck, an auto gate, an EV charger and a generator. It's a five-bedroom, four-bath home with 3,464 square feet, plus a walkout finished lower level.

38 Amherst Road, noon to 2 p.m. (also Sunday, noon to 2 p.m.), $2,425,000. New to the market Oct. 6, this renovated Riverside split-level centers on a kitchen with an oversized Taj Mahal stone island and a wall of glass opening to the deck. Upstairs, high ceilings and oversized windows brighten the family room and primary suite. The nearly 28-foot-wide deck overlooks a lawn framed by trees and a stone wall. It's a four-bedroom, three-bath home with 2,682 square feet.

1 Deepwoods Lane, 2 to 4 p.m. (also Sunday, 1 to 3 p.m.), $3,895,000. Remodeled in 2000 and updated since, this Old Greenwich home opens with a double-height foyer and a renovated kitchen and dining room. Downstairs, a family room with a custom wet bar leads to a deck and a level yard that, according to the listing, overlooks the Binney Park nature trails. Other features include a stone facade, two new high-efficiency HVAC systems and an EV charger. It's a five-bedroom, four-bath home with 4,488 square feet. Its price was cut by $130,000 on Oct. 1.

Sunday, Oct. 11

10 Parsonage Lane, 1 to 3 p.m., $3,995,000. On a dead-end street in lower Mid-Country, this gated property covers 3.74 acres with stone walls, level lawns and a pond whose footbridge leads to a private island. The listing pitches two options: live in the updated 1966 Colonial ranch, or use the approved septic, perc and wetlands plans to build new. The house is a five-bedroom, 5.5-bath home with 3,783 square feet.

8 Somerset Lane, 1 to 3 p.m., $5,295,000. The listing describes this cul-de-sac house as a new Riverside residence by Frattaroli Construction Group, with four finished levels. A double-height foyer with a sweeping staircase leads to living spaces with a marble fireplace, and sliding doors open to a balcony with what the listing calls distant harbor and sunset views. There's also a designer kitchen with a marble island and custom oak cabinetry, an office, a gym and a media room. It's a six-bedroom, 6.5-bath home with 5,278 square feet.

59 Dandy Drive, 1 to 3 p.m., $2,999,000. On a private 1-acre lot in Cos Cob, this home has walk-in closets throughout and two extra rooms that can serve as a home office or guest suite. Out back are a stone patio, an outdoor kitchen with a fire pit and an open lawn with raised garden beds. It also has central air and a heated two-car garage. It's a five-bedroom, four-bath home with 5,042 square feet.

340 Valley Road, Unit 2, 1 to 3 p.m., $2,795,000. This 2007 home is in Valley Ridge, a gated community, and has an elevator serving all three levels. A double-height great room with a floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace adjoins the dining room, and the kitchen opens to a family room with a gas fireplace. The walkout lower level has a wet bar, a bedroom and a full bath. It's a four-bedroom, 3.5-bath home with 4,088 square feet; the HOA fee is $525 a month.

5 Butler St., 1 to 3 p.m., $3.75 million. This 2015 Colonial in the heart of Cos Cob has a kitchen with Carrara marble countertops and a two-tier island, plus a west-facing deck the listing says looks out on Loughlin Park. The finished attic is now a playroom and gym with a climbing wall, and an elevator shaft is already in place. The listing names the Bush-Holley House, Cos Cob Harbor and the village shops among nearby spots. It's a five-bedroom, 4.5-bath home with 3,983 square feet.

34 Wescott St., 1:30 to 3:30 p.m., $3,195,000. Built in 2019, this Riverside modern farmhouse has board-and-batten siding with stone trim and an open floor plan. Each of the four bedrooms has its own bath and a walk-in closet, and the chef's kitchen includes a built-in Miele coffee system. There's bonus attic space and a finished walkout lower level. It's a four-bedroom, 4.5-bath home with 4,550 square feet. Its price was cut by $100,000 on Oct. 5.

Also open Sunday: 88 Indian Field Road and 38 Amherst Road (noon to 2 p.m.) and 1 Deepwoods Lane (1 to 3 p.m.).

Make a weekend of it: Sunday is the busy day, with five homes open from 1 to 3 p.m. Riverside has two of them, Somerset Lane and Wescott Street (open until 3:30), and Cos Cob has two more, Dandy Drive and Butler Street. Early risers can see the $449,000 East Putnam Avenue condo at 9 a.m. Saturday, then compare it with the $5.3 million Somerset Lane house a day later.
