Greenwich's Commission on Aging and Wallace Center administrative offices will close Wednesday, Oct. 28, through Friday, Oct. 30, while moving to Town Hall, according to a town announcement. Administrative services will be unavailable during that period, and no administrative business will be conducted at the Wallace Center.
Office staff will resume regular operations Monday, Nov. 2, at Town Hall. The new front office will occupy the former Parks and Recreation Beach Pass Office, to the left as visitors enter the main lobby. Wallace Center support staff and the program specialist will be based there.
The Halloween party will still take place at the Wallace Center on Thursday, Oct. 29, according to the announcement. Administrative services will not be available that day.
For program questions and registration assistance, residents can call 203-862-6700. Questions on programs, registration and general assistance can be directed to 203-862-6721. For Share-the-Fare, Medicare Counseling and community resources, residents can call 203-862-6710.
The announcement also directs residents to MyActiveCenter to explore programs, register for activities and manage participation online. It encourages residents to call for help, noting that staff may be less visible at Town Hall. A November office-hours schedule will be announced after staff unpack and settle into the new location.
