The Junior League of Greenwich (JLG) completed its second annual All Service Day, making a meaningful impact across the Greenwich community. On Tuesday, October 20, JLG members volunteered from 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. to improve the lives of thousands.

Members participated in service projects supporting children, families, and local organizations in partnership with various Greenwich nonprofits and community partners.

"It's amazing what volunteerism can accomplish in just one day, and to witness such a profound impact is exactly why we do what we do at the Junior League of Greenwich," said Sara Burns Davis, JLG President. "Our members live our mission statement, and the most rewarding part of all is seeing the smiles on kids' and parents' faces while educating ourselves and meeting new people."

Before most had their morning coffee, JLG members loaded and distributed nearly 2,000 diapers, serving nearly 50 local families through Mothers for Others. Members also prepared 375 sandwiches for children attending after-school programs at the Boys & Girls Club and Kids in Crisis, with ingredients generously donated by Stop & Shop Greenwich and Neri's Bakery Products of Port Chester.

The organization assembled 20 duffel bags and boxes filled with essential hygiene products for Greenwich High School's Community Pantry, along with 50 care packages containing handwritten messages of hope, T-shirts, and water bottles for residents at Kids in Crisis.

JLG members also spent the day hosting Halloween arts and crafts activities at the Boys & Girls Club, organizing classroom libraries at Arch Street Preschool, and assisting Neighbor to Neighbor with packing pantry bags, restocking shelves, organizing clothing donations, and gardening,
