GREENWICH, CT — The League of Women Voters of Greenwich will host a discussion of the midterm election results with political scientist Susan Herbst on Tuesday, Nov. 17, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Greenwich Town Hall.

Herbst, a UConn professor and president emeritus, will discuss the voting process and results, how the new composition of Congress could affect government operations and what the midterm elections may suggest about the political landscape heading into 2028.

"Helping voters understand an election's consequences is as important as helping them prepare to vote," said League of Women Voters of Greenwich President Mary Browne in an announcement about the event. "We're pleased to welcome Susan Herbst to help our community consider what the results mean for governing and what may lie ahead."

Admission is free, but registration is required and space is limited.

The League of Women Voters of Greenwich is a nonpartisan 501(c)(3) organization that encourages informed and active participation in government. It neither supports nor opposes candidates or political parties.
