Alan Schiller, MD, a Rowayton resident, has been appointed director of pathology at .
Most recently, Dr. Schiller served as the Irene Heinz Given and John LaPorta Given professor and chairman emeritus at The Mount Sinai School of Medicine, New York. He has earned a national and international reputation for his research in bone and joint disease.
In addition, Dr. Schiller serves as the specialty leader, Pathology, U.S. Navy Reserve and is a member of the board of trustees of the National Space Biomedical Research Institute of NASA. He earned his medical degree from the Chicago Medical School and completed his residency and fellowship training at Massachusetts General Hospital.
