On Thursday, Sept. 27, employees at GE Capital Real Estate held a Fall Festival for the 176 children enrolled in Family Centers’ Early Care and Education (ECE) and Head Start preschools.
The event took place on the playground area at Armstrong Court in Greenwich, and featured more than a dozen game stations, prizes, balloon animals, a pumpkin patch and face painting. As part of GE’s “BEE Healthy” Initiative, each student also received a healthy breakfast and lunch. More than 25 employees from local GE offices volunteered at the festival and assisted in running game stations, pumpkin decorating and distributing lunches.
