Annual Household Hazardous Waste Day Upcoming In Greenwich
The Greenwich Department of Public Works will hold the annual event on May 4.

GREENWICH, CT — The Greenwich Department of Public Works will hold its annual Household Hazardous Waste Day on May 4.
Scheduled to take place from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Island Beach parking lot, the day is part of a regional program for residents of Darien, Greenwich, New Canaan, Norwalk, Stamford and Westport to safely dispose of household hazardous wastes.
No commercial loads will be accepted. Products such as cleaners, gasoline, and pesticides can pollute the environment and jeopardize public health when they are disposed of improperly and enter the land or water.
