Annual 'Sip & Shop' Event Returns To Greenwich For 2026

The popular fall shopping event supports cancer research with Swim Across America - Fairfield County.

GREENWICH, CT — The popular Sip & Shop Girls' Night Out event will return Nov. 5 from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Innis Arden Golf Club, 120 Tomac Ave. in Old Greenwich, with net proceeds benefiting Swim Across America – Fairfield County to support cancer research.

The event is free and open to the public. Attendees are asked not to wear denim.

This year’s event will feature expanded hours and more vendors, including returning and new participants. The marketplace will feature local and independent vendors, along with a cash bar. Attendees can also sell unwanted gold and silver jewelry or flatware on-site.

"The Sip & Shop is such a fun way to come together as a community while supporting life-changing cancer research," said Nancy Carr, event organizer and event director for Swim Across America – Fairfield County, in an announcement.

"Cancer touches all of us in some way — and every purchase helps fund promising cell and gene therapy research that can make a real difference. In fact, funds contributed by Swim Across America - Fairfield County support our local beneficiary, Alliance for Cancer Gene Therapy (ACGT), based right here in Fairfield County, and support cancer cell and gene therapy research that leads to safer and more effective treatments."

Carr and co-organizer Roseann Sarica Benedict have worked together for the past 11 years to bring the annual event to Greenwich and support Swim Across America.

Carr, who is also a personal stylist, works directly with vendors and selects the mix for the event.

"I’m always on the lookout for something new — a designer, maker or brand that hasn’t been seen everywhere else," said Carr in an announcement. "That sense of discovery is a big part of what makes Sip & Shop so much fun. We’re bringing together a really interesting mix of vendors and products, and the fact that every purchase helps support cancer research, makes shopping feel even better."

Sarica Benedict, a local top-selling real estate agent and lifelong Greenwich resident, draws on her community connections to help organize the event.

"Every year we have so much fun organizing and putting on the Sip & Shop event," Benedict said. "It’s been amazing to see how the event has grown – and this year is the most exciting of them all with a variety of fabulous vendors and extended hours from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., to accommodate everyone in the community to come out and sip and shop!"
