Anti-Freeze Thrown At Victim During Greenwich Altercation: PD

The incident occurred Monday night in Byram, according to authorities.

GREENWICH, CT — A victim required hospital treatment Monday night after they had anti-freeze thrown at them during an alleged dispute over parking, according to Greenwich Police Lt. John Slusarz.

The incident occurred at about 8:45 p.m. on Henry Street in Byram, and no other injuries were reported. Additional information on the victim's condition was not disclosed.

Arrested on a charge of second-degree reckless endangerment was Greenwich resident Andrea E. Torres-Nieto, 36, of Hamilton Avenue, who Slusarz said admitted to throwing the anti-freeze at the victim.

"Witnesses corroborated the incident," said Slusarz.

Torres-Nieto was released after posting a $500 bond and is scheduled to appear in Stamford Superior Court on Dec. 24.
