An Argument and Smashed iPad Leads to Man's Arrest

Greenwich Police arrest man following weekend dispute.

A man is facing second-degree criminal mischief and second-degree breach of peace charges following a weekend argument that included a computer being smashed, according to Greenwich Police.

Police say they were called to a Sheephill Road residence in the Riverside neighborhood of town just before 2 p.m. Feb. 15. Officers found that an argument between the suspect and a girlfriend escalated and the suspect reportedly smashed the woman’s iPad to the ground.

Jonah C. Hatter, 20, of Troy, NY, was charged with the incident. He was held in lieu of $1,000 bond and scheduled to appear Feb. 17 in state Superior Court in Stamford.
