'The Ark At JFK': Greenwich Residents Operate Pet Hotel

The luxury pet hotel is located at John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York.

GREENWICH, CT — What began six years ago with speech about real estate at Cornell University, is now a luxury pet hotel and air cargo facility at John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York.

After Greenwich resident John Cuticelli gave that speech, and a few years later the real estate developer and his wife, Elizabeth Schuette-Cuticelli, created The Ark at JFK, a $65 million animal care and import/export business with Cornell’s College of Veterinary Medicine as consultants, reports the Greenwich Time.

The state-of-the-art facility, which opened earlier this year, measures 178,000 square feet and can house and then transport dozens of horses and other pets around the world, all with an incredible level of service and security.
