Back Country Burglary Suspect Busted By Greenwich Police
The alleged incident in question dates back to 2017.

GREENWICH, CT — A 26-year-old Jackson Heights, NY man was arrested by Greenwich police on a warrant last week charging him with multiple counts of burglary and larceny in connection with the theft of jewelry and watches from a home in the Greenwich Back Country, according to authorities.
Juan C. Bonilla-Arias was extradited from New York by members of the Greenwich Police Department on Aug. 23.
The arrest stems from a November 2017 burglary and larceny from a home on Gaston Farm Road in Greenwich, according to police.

Bonilla-Arias is accused of breaking into the home by forcing open a door, which tripped the alarm system. He then allegedly stole the expensive items within minutes and got out of the home before police arrived.
Greenwich detectives launched an investigation and were able to develop Bonilla-Arias as the suspect.

Bonilla-Arias was held in lieu of bail of $100,000 and is scheduled to appear in Stamford Superior Court on Sept. 6.
