Always rushing your children out the door and running late to school?

Is your child’s backpack an overwhelming mess?

Is every evening a battle to get homework started, let alone finished?

And when homework is completed, does your child forget to turn it in? (Perhaps he cannot find it in his messy backpack!)

Does your child need constant reminders to wash her hair, brush her teeth, or pack a change of clothes for after-school sports?

Do these issues result in frustrating arguments with your child?

In this workshop, you will learn a wide range of strategies to help you help your child get to school on time, with hair and teeth brushed, homework ready to be turned in to the teacher inside an organized backpack, along with any other supplies needed for the day. While these skills, know as executive functions, are essential to school success, they do not come easily to every child. Students are often required and expected to use their executive functions while they are still developing, which can be frustrating for the student, parents, and teachers.
