Beginning Dec. 1, Leashed Dogs Are Allowed At Greenwich Beaches
The Greenwich Police Department is reminding residents about the town's leash laws.
GREENWICH, CT — The Greenwich Police Department is reminding residents that beginning Dec. 1 and ending on March 31, 2023, leashed dogs are allowed on Greenwich beaches.
The department said in a social media post that no owner, keeper, or person in charge of the dog shall allow the dog to run loose or roam at large at any time upon any beach.
Further, the dog cannot chase, harass, or disturb any bird or other wildlife species, according to Section 7-44 of the Greenwich Code of Ordinances.
