Bicyclist Seriously Injured After Collision With Truck: Greenwich PD
The collision occurred around 11:45 a.m. Wednesday on Shore Road near Grass Island, police said.

GREENWICH, CT — A bicyclist was seriously injured after they were hit by a truck in Greenwich on Wednesday, police said.
The collision occurred on Shore Road near the intersection with Grass Island around 11:45 a.m. Wednesday, Capt. Mark Zuccerella of the Greenwich Police Department said.
Zuccerella said the truck involved belonged to the Greenwich Department of Public Works.

The department's Traffic Reconstruction Unit responded and is investigating the collision. The scene was closed during the early-afternoon hours, and reopened around 2:30 p.m., Zuccerella said.
No further details on the collision or the victim were released. Zuccerella said the department will issue a news release at a later time.
