Big Powerball Prize Claimed In Old Greenwich: CT Lottery

GREENWICH, CT — An Old Greenwich resident recently won a large cash prize after playing Powerball, according to the Connecticut Lottery.

The resident won $50,000, and the winning ticket was purchased from the Greenwich BP gas station at 1324 E. Putnam Ave.

Powerball is a multi-state game. The minimum Jackpot is $20 million, and increases based on ticket sales. The game costs $2 per wager.
