'Birding with Yeats': A Greenwich Discussion with Author Lynn Thomson
Birding vicariously with Thomson and her son as they travel the world.

Join noted author Lynn Thomson for a book signing and conversation with Audubon Connecticut Executive Director Stewart Hudson about her book ‘Birding with Yeats — a Memoir’ on Thursday, April 23.
The program will take place at Audubon Greenwich, 613 Riversville Rd., from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
Birding With Yeats is a memoir that begins in 2007 when Lynn Thomson and her teenage son, Yeats, take a trip to Vancouver Island and discover a mutual love of birdwatching. She describes in detail the many trips they take, from the Wye Marsh and Pelee Island in Ontario, to Vancouver Island in British Columbia, to an ill-fated trip to the Galapagos Islands. She describes how their relationship grows and evolves as their journey proceeds, with birds as a portal to a deeper connection they possess.
