Residents along the flight path can expect a few seconds of jet noise as the aircrafts pass overhead, along with the sight of 12 high-performance aircrafts flying close in precise formation. Officials are discouraging people from traveling to landmarks and hospitals or gathering in large groups to view the flyover.

The New York City Police Department has confirmed the show will involve eight Thunderbird F-16 jets and seven Blue Angel jets all flying around 1,500 feet above the ground. Police say they expect the show to be visible from Manhattan to Staten island and Brooklyn.
