Bomb Threat Reported At Greenwich Country Club: Police

Police responded to Greenwich Country Club on Saturday on a report of a bomb threat. An investigation remains ongoing.

GREENWICH, CT — Police are investigating a bomb threat that occurred at Greenwich Country Club over the weekend. The club is located at 19 Doubling Road.

Capt. Mark Zuccerella of the Greenwich Police Department said the threat was made around 1 p.m. on Sept. 18.

"The building was searched with the assistance of other jurisdictions and bomb detection canines. No bomb material was located and nothing suspicious was located. No one was injured," Zuccerella said. "There was a private event happening at the time the call was made. [It's] unknown if at this time the two are related."
