Boys & Girls Club Of Greenwich Receives Funds From Optimum

The Boys & Girls Club of Greenwich recently accepted a check from Optimum, a partner of the Boys & Girls Club of America.

GREENWICH, CT — Optimum, the provider of advanced internet, mobile, TV and phone services, recently committed over $17,000 across four Boys & Girls Clubs in Connecticut, including in Greenwich.

The Boys & Girls Club of Greenwich (BGCG) accepted $2,500 from the company, a partner of the Boys & Girls Club of America.

BGCG VP of Programs & Youth Development Don Palmer, BGCG CEO Cristina Vittoria, state Reps. Rachel Khanna (D-149), Stephen Meskers (D-150) and Hector Arzeno (D-151) were presented with a check from Jay Keel and Esme Lombard of Optimum.

Optimum provides resources to various clubs across its 21-state footprint, and provides high-speed internet services, and science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) learning opportunities "to contribute to support innovation and growth of students throughout Optimum’s local communities," the company said in an announcement.

Other beneficiaries included the Boys & Girls Club of Stamford and Milford, and the Wakeman Boys & Girls Club in Bridgeport.
