Adopt Jake Pekingese/Tibetan Spaniel Mix

Jake was given up by his owner who had hit rough-times. He was brought into our shelter with a horrible eye infection and  unfortunately needed the eye removed, but he hasn't missed a beat. Jake is a great natured- neutered male, about 4 years old. True to the Pekingese, he's a real companion dog and loves human contact. Give him a pat and he rolls on his belly for more lovin.' Like his Tibetan heritage, he loves a good romp in the yard or a walk on the leash. He would make the perfect family dog.

Jake weighs 20 pounds, gets along with other dogs and doesn't seem to mind cats. He is completely house broken and knows some basic commands.
