Bruce Membership: Your Ticket to a World of Cultural Institutions
With your Bruce Museum membership, you gain access to dozens of world-class institutions in this area and beyond.
A Bruce Museum membership gives you so much more than unlimited admission to the Bruce’s dozen or more world-class exhibitions of art and science each year. All Bruce members also receive access to two reciprocal museum alliances, allowing museum lovers to explore, for free, the wonders of many cultural institutions across the East Coast and the rest of the U.S., as well as select international museums in countries such as Canada, South Korea, Portugal, and the United Kingdom.
The Fairfield/Westchester Museum Alliance gives Bruce Museum members reciprocal privileges to seven area museums, from the Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum in Ridgefield, CT, to the Wave Hill Public Garden and Cultural Center in the Bronx.
The Association of Science-Technology Centers (ASTC) Passport Programs widens the scope of Bruce Museum membership with free access to scores of science centers and museums outside a 90-mile radius of the Bruce Museum’s location in Greenwich. ASTC also becomes an international trip planner’s best friend by providing entrée to museums in Australia, Canada, Portugal, and South Korea, among many other places.“A Bruce Museum membership is worthwhile for members not only when they are in town but also when they travel,” says Laura Freeman, Membership Manager. Annual membership fees at the Bruce range from $40 for seniors to $60 for individuals or senior couples to $65 for dual members and families. Additional member benefits include invitations to exclusive member openings, free admission to the annual outdoor Arts and Crafts Festivals, artist talks, guest lectures, films and other programs, and a 10% discount in the Museum Store.For Bruce members at the Patron level and above ($250, $185 tax deductible), the Museum Alliance Reciprocal Program (MARP) provides access to leading museums across the U.S., such as the Guggenheim Museum, the Brooklyn Museum, the Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago, the Museum of Fine Arts in Houston, and the San Francisco Museum of Contemporary Art.
