From Digital Weekend STEAM activities to the new Wild Wednesdays journaling exercises, Museum educators will keep your family busy at home

The Bruce Museum’s mission is to promote the understanding and appreciation of Art and Science to enrich the lives of all people. While we will miss seeing you in the galleries, we still plan to engage and interact with you through all of the channels available to us. This means that for the time being the Bruce Museum has gone digital.

We invite you to visit this web page to explore the array of online learning activities and programs, which range from weekly STEAM activities for families to complete at home, to online art classes

The Bruce Museum’s newest digital series, Wild Wednesdays, will introduce you and your learners to different ways of exploring the natural world that is all around us. Wild Wednesdays lessons are designed for groups or solo learners, are appropriate for learners from second grade through high school, and can be appreciated by adults as well.

Wild Wednesdays are created by Manager of School and Community Partnerships Corinne Flax, and artist and scientist Hara Woltz. The Bruce is thrilled to partner with Woltz, whose practice focuses on investigating the relationships between humans, the environment, and other living organisms.

In upcoming weeks, Woltz will show you a variety of ways to notice, observe, and understand the world around you through different creative journaling techniques. Click here to begin!
