Burglars Arrested At Greenwich Car Dealership: PD
Police said two men accused of trying to steal a vehicle from a Greenwich car dealership were arrested.

GREENWICH, CT — Two New York men accused of trying to steal a vehicle from a Greenwich car dealership were arrested Sunday, according to police. Police said officers responded to BMW of Greenwich on West Putnam Avenue around 11:30 p.m. after receiving reports of two men trying to break into vehicles there, police said.
After further investigation, officers determined the men had damaged a vehicle located within the lot at the dealership, entered the vehicle and attempted to steal it, according to police. (To sign up for Greenwich breaking news alerts and more, click here.)
Police said the men tried to flee when officers arrived but were ultimately arrested. One of the men, later identified as Starling Santana, 28, of the Bronx, N.Y., provided officers with a fake name and a New Jersey driver's license, police said.

Both men were also found to have half an ounce of marijuana in their possession, according to police.
Santana was charged with third-degree burglary, second-degree forgery, interfering with an officer, criminal attempt at first-degree larceny, conspiracy to commit first-degree larceny, second-degree criminal mischief and possession of burglary tools.

Lewis Rodriguez, 19, of the Bronx, N.Y., was also charged with third-degree burglary, interfering with an officer, criminal attempt at first-degree larceny, conspiracy to commit first-degree larceny, second-degree criminal mischief and possession of burglary tools.
