Vodolaga Classical Ballet

We are excited to present an innovative “subscription” structure for our program beginning this summer. Families are searching for quality classical ballet instruction but need it in a format that allows maximum flexibility. At VCB, for an affordable monthly fee, students can take 2 classes per week/up to 7 per month at their age & ability level, selecting from at least three choices per week.

Our class schedule will run in afternoons & evenings year-round. In Summer, students can take ballet even if they attend another day camp. During the academic year, their subscription & our class schedule will continue seamlessly.

Both new & experienced students will build technical skills & improve their lines & strength in our classes, through traditional barre & center exercises. Teachers will also incorporate stretching & conditioning elements into the classes.

Our faculty are excited to welcome new students of ALL ages & levels including beginners, & have proven track records training excellent dancers, whether they want recreational dance or aspire to becoming professional dancers.

Yuri Vodolaga, Artistic Director, was trained in Kiev & St. Petersburg & has been teaching in the US for over 20 years. He has taught & coached students who now dance in top companies around the world including ABT & Paris Opera Ballet, & has won YAGP Teacher of the Year award, with many students placing at the top of YAGP Regionals & Finals & other competitions.

Oksana Konobeyeva danced with Bolshoi Theater & ABT, & holds ABT Teacher & Pilates certifications. She has taught in & around Greenwich CT for 15 years. In addition to teaching our “Ballet Basics,” she offers workshops & classes for the youngest dancers at VCB.
