Les Beaux Arts Gallery Opens for the Season!

Ron Strackbein, a visual artist based in Greenwich, will show a collection of his abstract artworks at Les Beaux Arts Gallery from Sunday, September 6 through November 5, 2026.

Strackbein had an early career in corporate management, and upon retirement, he pursued art studies at the Art Students League in New York City and Silvermine Art Center in New Canaan, Connecticut. His paintings are mainly geometric lines using wood elements and bold colors.

 In his art statement, Strackbein explains : "My art explores the integration of painting and sculpture, adding a three-dimensional feeling. I find on construction sites discarded materials. To my eyes, such pieces possess beauty and aesthetic. My paintings consist of colors which clash with one another expressively"

Strackbein has been exhibited at galleries in lower Manhattan as well as the Flinn Gallery in Greenwich, the Barn@Downing gallery in Stamford, and many others.

Les Beaux Arts Gallery is located in the Round Hill Community Church, 395 Round Hill Road, Greenwich. Gallery hours are: Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Sunday, 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and closed on Saturdays.
