The Greenwich Road Runners are proud to announce that HSS has been named the Title Sponsor of the inaugural Greenwich Half Marathon, marking the beginning of a new partnership centered on promoting health, wellness, and community through running.
As Title Sponsor, HSS will play a leading role in launching what is expected to become one of Connecticut's premier fall road races. The event will officially be known as the HSS Greenwich Half Marathon.
Scheduled for Sunday, September 27, the inaugural HSS Greenwich Half Marathon will welcome runners to a scenic, flat and fast 13.1-mile course through Greenwich Point Park and the surrounding coastal roads of Old Greenwich. Designed to appeal to both first-time half marathoners and experienced runners, participation will be limited to ensure an exceptional race day experience and is expected to sell out.

Hosted by Greenwich Road Runners, the event builds on the organization's mission of fostering healthier lives and stronger communities through the power of running. In addition to providing a memorable race experience, the event will support local organizations and provide Kids in Crisis with a platform to fundraise and share its mission of providing crisis intervention, emergency shelter, and counseling services for children and families, while encouraging participants and spectators to make donations to the organization.

The HSS Greenwich Half Marathon will begin at 7:00 a.m. on Sunday, September 27, at Greenwich Point Park. The certified, two-loop course offers runners beautiful coastal views and ideal racing conditions, with awards presented across multiple age divisions.
The 2026 race is also supported by Slager Madry LLC, The Current Wellness, and Thread & Treads.
