Scuba Diving Lessons at the YMCA of Greenwich
Earn your PADI Open Water Diver certification at the YMCA of Greenwich!
Led by a certified PADI instructor, you’ll learn dive theory, equipment use, underwater communication, and other essential safety skills. Through a combination of e-learning, confined water practice, and open water dives, you’ll gain the confidence and competence to explore the underwater world.

▸ This program is open to ages 12 and up.
▸ Completion of all e-learning modules is required prior to in-person sessions.
▸ Divers must provide their own fins, snorkel, and mask.
▸ PADI Open Water Diver certifications never expire
Please plan to arrive at least 15 minutes early to check in and get settled before class starts. For your convenience, multiple spacious, full-service locker rooms are available throughout the building.
