Candidate Debates Announced By League Of Women Voters Of Greenwich
The debates will take place on Oct. 15 at Greenwich Town Hall.

GREENWICH, CT — The League of Women Voters of Greenwich will host two debates on Oct. 15 featuring candidates for State Senator District 36 and State Representative Districts 149, 150 and 151.
The debates will be held in the Town Hall Meeting Room beginning at 7 p.m. when state Sen. Ryan Fazio (R-36) will go up against Democratic challenger Nick Simmons.
At 8 p.m., the second debate will feature state Rep. Rachel Khanna (D-149) and Republican challenger Tina Courpas; state Rep. Steve Meskers (D-150) and Republican challenger Paul Cappiali; and state Rep. Hector Arzeno (D-151) and Republican challenger Tod Laudonia.

Kay Maxwell, a past national and Connecticut League of Women Voters pesident, will moderate with the help of a Greenwich High School student.
Questions will be submitted in advance of the debates; a bipartisan screening committee of at least two League board members will review questions submitted by attendees to prioritize them and to ensure that all candidates can answer the question.
