Car Thieves Strike Again in Greenwich
Another unlocked high-end SUV was stolen from central Greenwich.

The owner of a 2015 Range Rover parked the SUV on Greenwich Avenue on Sunday.
And when they returned to where they parked it in front of 200 Greenwich Ave. about 5:30 p.m., the vehicle was missing.
The vehicle had been left unlocked with the keys in the center console, according to Greenwich Police.

Sunday’s theft is the latest in a string of stolen vehicle reports since November and the second in a week. An unlocked 2013 Mercedes Benz GL550 SUV with two sets of keys inside, was swiped from the Boys & Girls Club Greenwich parking lot on Horseneck Lane about 1:30 p.m. April 20. Two SUV thefts were reported in late March.
So far, more than a dozen vehicles have been stolen since November, according to police reports.

In most instances, the vehicles were left unlocked with the keys inside, police have said.
