Charges Filed Against Greenwich Woman In DUI Crash: Police
She was injured in the June 20 crash on the Post Road in Cos Cob.
GREENWICH, CT — A 53-year-old Greenwich woman, who was injured in a June 20 crash in Cos Cob, was arrested on a warrant over the weekend charging her with illegal operation of a motor vehicle under the influence of drugs or alcohol in connection with the crash, according to Greenwich police.
Margaret Mary Massie, of Sherwood Place, surrendered to police on Sunday after learning of the warrant. In addition to the above mentioned charge, she was also charged with failure to drive in the proper lane.
Following crash on the Post Road, which occurred at about 12:30 p.m. on June 20, Massie was transported to Greenwich Hospital. Greenwich police obtained Massie's blood records, and they allegedly revealed that her blood alcohol content was above the legal limit, according to police officials.

Massie was released after posting bond on bail of $5,000 and is scheduled to appear in Stamford Superior Court on Aug. 13.
