Child Porn Case Of Former Greenwich RTM Member Decided: Report

He reportedly was caught during a state police investigation.

GREENWICH, CT — Christopher Sandys, a 47-year-old former member of the Greenwich Representative Town Meeting, pleaded guilty Friday to a single count of possession of child pornography and will serve four years in prison, reports the Stamford Advocate.

The LeGrande Avenue resident had nearly two dozen child pornographic images on his computer when he was apprehended as part of a state police investigation, according to prosecutors.

Sandys' actual sentence is eight years, suspended after he serves four years in prison. After his release, he will be on probation for 11 years, according to the publication.
