Child Psychologist Charged With Failure To Report Abuse: Police

GREENWICH, CT — A child psychologist who has a practice in Greenwich was arrested on Dec. 21 and charged with failure to report abuse, Greenwich police said.

Dr. Jerome Brodlie, 83, of Weston, CT, was able to post a $50,000 surety bond and was released. His next court date is March 30, 2022, according to the Connecticut Judicial Branch website.

As a mandated reporter, an investigation found that in March of 2017, Brodlie "intentionally failed to report alleged abuse and neglect to the Connecticut Department of Children and Families."

According to his profile on the Greenwich Hospital website, Brodlie specializes in child and adolescent psychology, and has spent 50 years in practice.
