Christ Church Greenwich To Hold Candlelight Vigil For Ukraine
The community-wide vigil will take place at the church on March 20. It will also be live-streamed online.
GREENWICH, CT — Christ Church Greenwich will hold a community-wide candlelight vigil for Ukraine on Sunday, March 20 at 5 p.m.
"No doubt we have all been horrified by the unfolding crisis in Ukraine. Many people are trying to understand what they can do to help families fleeing the violence and destruction, and many people are having a difficult time coming to terms with how this can happen," the church said in a news release. "It is hard to watch as it unfold on the news. The power of prayer helps us as well as the people we are praying for. It is soothing, meditative, and hopeful."
Along with being in-person at the church, the event will be live streamed here. All are invited to attend — masks are optional.
