Classes Canceled Tuesday At Greenwich Public Schools
A winter weather advisory is in effect until 7 p.m., for Fairfield County.
GREENWICH, CT — Classes have been canceled on Tuesday at Greenwich Public Schools due to the weather and dangerous road conditions.
"Due to the continued winter storm and expected hazardous road conditions throughout the day due to ice, Greenwich Public Schools will be closed Tuesday, January 16, for a shut down," the school district said via email.
Additionally, the first-ever town-run celebration of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was canceled. It's unclear if it will be rescheduled.

A winter weather advisory is in effect until 7 p.m., for Fairfield County.
Mixed precipitation is expected throughout the day, with snow accumulations of 1 to 3 inches and ice accumulations of around one-tenth of an inch possible, according to the National Weather Service.
