"Come Play" with Child Guidance Center at Annual Gala this Saturday
Child Guidance Center's annual black-tie optional gala to be held this Saturday, April 25th, at the Loading Dock in Stamford.

“Come Play!… It’s Opening Day” is the theme of this year’s gala for the Child Guidance Center of Southern Connecticut (CGC), inspired by the importance of play in every child’s life. Guests are required to respond promptly, as the event will be held this Saturday, April 25, 2015 at 6:00pm at the Loading Dock in Stamford, with tickets starting at $290/pp.
The gala will include a reception and dinner catered by Abigail Kirsch, music provided by James Daniel Entertainment, dancing, and live and silent auctions. Attire is black-tie optional, with interpretations of “baseball-chic” welcome. All event proceeds will help provide therapy and emergency crisis services for children, adolescents, and their families in Stamford, Greenwich, Darien and New Canaan.
Drawing from children’s excitement at their first baseball game, this year’s theme is inspired by America’s Pastime. In its 9th year, “Come Play!” provides crucial funding for CGC’s essential mental health services for children in our community who are traumatized, acting out, depressed, and in desperate need of help. CGC comes to the aid of all youth who need their life-saving services, regardless of whether or not a family can pay.
